Welcome party for new members.

A get together during morning tea to introduce new members and get to know the Group's Committee Members and Instructors.

2013 Class starts

February, 2013


New class will start on Saturday, 2nd Feb. 2013

Location: The Evergreen Centre, 45 Talbot Ave. Balwyn

Joining and registration: Just come and join us at the appropriate class time. A short information session for new students (about 15 minutes) will be held at 9:30 am. Registration for new students will be held on first day of class from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.

Fee: Course fee is $85 per term (20 classes) for ordinary students. Discounts are available for seniors & Hong Kong Club members.


Push Hand Workshop

As there are not sufficient interest this time around, this workshop is cancelled.

This workshop will cover basic concepts and techniques in push hand, including : Single hand; Double hand; Moving double hand; and the Peng-Lu-Ji-Ah standard routine.

Cost for one workshop: $30 (Tai Chi Group members and WTPA members), $40 others.

Health Qigong - Ba Duan Jin Workshop

19 Jan 2013, Sat. 9:00 am – 12:00 noon


This workshop will cover the popular Qigong Exercise Ba Duan Jin (meaning Eight Treasures) as compiled by the Chinese Heath Qigong Association

Cost for one workshop: $30 (Tai Chi Group members and WTPA members), $40 others.

Dec-2012 Open Day

Open Day, Saturday, 15 Dec. 2012


10am—12:30pm at The Evergreen Centre, 45 Talbot Ave. Balwyn.

Open Day went really well. The attendance was good and we all had a great time with plenty of food. The Tai Chi Sword class had their very first public demonstration led by Alexis. Angelina, Susan and Albert performed with different weapons. Everyone totally enjoyed it.
