HKCTCG Inc. 2023 AGM - Saturday 7 October

This is to advise you of the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members on Saturday 7th October 2023 at 11.30am at Balwyn Evergreen Centre.

 

Program on the day will be as follows:

 

8.30am to 11.30am:    Normal classes

11.30am:                     AGM

 

If you are unable to attend, you may use the proxy form to appoint another member of TCG as your proxy to attend and vote on your behalf. A form appointing a proxy must be given to the Chairperson of the meeting (Lilly Yuen) before or at the start of the meeting. If you are going to email or post the proxy form, please ensure it is received by TCG no later than 11am on Friday 6th October 2023.

Workshops - Saturday 10/06/2023

There will be two separate workshops on Saturday June 10 conducted by two of our senior instructors.

 

Bafa Wubu of Tai Chi, Eight Methods and Five Steps ( 太极八法五步 ) – Sifu Raymond Au

 

Tai Chi "Eight Methods and Five Steps” is based on the core commonalities of the five schools of Tai Chi - Chen, Yang, Wu, Sun and Hao. It incorporates the eight techniques of Tai Chi: Quiver, Stroke, Squeeze, Press, Picking, Sparring, Elbow and Lean, as well as the five steps of Advance, Retreat, Guarding, Looking Forward and Determination.

 

** This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners.

 

Time: 9am to 12pm    Cost: Members $50, WTQA members $50, Non-members $60

 

 

18 Form Yang Style Taiji (Tai Chi) Fan – Sifu Susan Berryman

 

This form is created on the basis of Yang style Taiji chuan incorporating fan skills. The movements are smooth, graceful, slow and even-paced. Practising the fan routine will help increase our co-ordination especially with the hand and wrist.

 

**This workshop is suitable for students who practise Yang style Taiji.

**Good revision for those who have learnt the form and would like to practise with the intention of learning the Fan 36.

**If you sign up for this workshop and do not possess a fan please contact us for options.
