Meeting Time and Place:
If interested, please meet around 9:30 am near Separation Street
entrance of the park.
Parking:
There should be parking spaces along Smith Street. Please check
parking signs though.
What we will be doing:
We will have some warm up and a walk around the park. The walk
will take around 1 hour. If we can find some good area, we can do some
Tai Chi along the way or after the walk. Afterwards, members may choose
to go for a coffee or lunch in restaurants or cafes near the park. The
park is not hilly and should be a comfortable walk for person of average
fitness.
Things to wear and bring:
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor. Runners or
walking shoes are suitable. Do have sun protection (i.e. sun hat and sun
screen). You may also would like to bring water and some
snack.
Weather or issues:
If weather is bad or other issues, then we will have to cancel.
If weather is not too bad but there is a chance of showers, we will still
go ahead. Please text or call Sam on 0418-101-937 if not
sure. If you decide to go, when there is a good possibility of wet
weather, you should have appropriate waterproof clothing and shoes for walking
in wet weather.
Registration:
Please register with Committee members at front foyer this coming
Saturday or otherwise by email. Please let us know your contact phone
number so that we can contact you on the day if needed.
Car Pooling: Some
members may need a ride to the park. If you can give someone a ride to
the park, or if you need a ride there, please let Committee members know during
registration.
