Kew Festival Wellness Day Outdoor Practice CANCELLED

On 10th March, Saturday of Labour Day long weekend, there will be no Tai Chi classes at the Balwyn Evergreen Centre (BEC).  TCG planned to participate in an outdoor practice session at the Kew Festival Wellness Day.  

Regrettably we were informed by the organisers of the event that it has been cancelled.

As a result, please be informed that there will be no Tai Chi classes at BEC on Sat, 10 March 2018

Holiday Practice at Beckett Park

During the holiday period, Sam Au has organised practice sessions on Monday 10 am - 11:30 am, at Beckett Park, Kew (except for public holidays, and weather permitting), starting on 18 December.

There are different parts of Beckett Park that people can practice Tai Chi and weather may not be suitable on that day, so please message or contact Sam on 0418-101-937 beforehand if you intend to attend.

Nordic Walking

Sam will also be doing Nordic Walking during holiday period on Wednesday 9:30 am in parks near Balwyn area.  If interested, please contact Sam on 0418-101-937.

Workshops on 20th Jan 2018

1. Taijiquan 45 form (selected from 88 form)

Saturday, 20th Jan 2018, 9.00 am — 12.00 pm

This 45 form is selected from Taijiquan 88 form. This form is suitable for performance at competi-tion or for a shorter practice session. For those who have completed 24 form, this workshop will be an introduction to the 45 form.

2. Health Qigong Wu Qin Xi (Five Animal Frolic) 健身气功五禽戏

Saturday, 20th Jan 2018, 9.00 am — 12.00 pm

This is a group of physical and breathing exercises for improving health and well-being with a uniquely traditional Chinese flavour. The movements are comparatively simple and easy to remember and can be practiced by people of different age groups and physical fitness levels.

10.00 AM - 12.30 PM at Balwyn Evergreen Centre - 45 Talbot Avenue, Balwyn.

Please invite family, friends and anyone interested in Tai Chi to watch our demonstration.



Students will demonstrate the various forms of Tai Chi learned in class. Special performances by Sifus and Instructors will be the highlights.

Join us for refreshments at the end of the demonstration.

Annual Dinner

Our annual dinner will be held on:  Sunday 3rd December

Where: At the Kambo Chinese Restaurant 
1 Mahoneys Rd,  Forest Hill.
